Klabin maintains an economic, social and environmental agenda featuring guidelines and goals to address any impacts related to its operations in the communities where it is present. In addition, it maintains a social and environmental investment platform that includes projects and initiatives focused on local development, citizenship, environmental education and culture.
In 2024, Klabin made progress in implementing an action plan to strengthen the control layers of its social and environmental impact matrix for forestlands in Paraná and Santa Catarina and the social matrix for its Ortigueira and Monte Alegre plants in Paraná.
