The ratio of direct to indirect costs remained stable in 2025 compared with 2024. This cost structure supports new market demands, investment projects, and essential support services, including food, security, and janitorial services, as well as maintenance, timber transportation, shipping, forestry operations, and harvesting activities. The seasonal nature of the business also influences these costs.

Female representation increased slightly across most job categories in 2025, with the most significant improvement occurring at the director level, where it rose from 20% to 29%.

The employee turnover rate remained stable at 18% in 2025, unchanged from the previous year. Female employee turnover declined by 4% compared with 2024. The employee turnover rate by age group generally reflects the company's workforce distribution. Employees under the age of 30 accounted for the highest number of departures, followed by those aged 30–50, while employees over 50 accounted for the lowest number of departures.

In 2025, Klabin hired 210 more employees than the number of lay-offs or resignations recorded during the same period. Overall turnover was 19.45%, up 1.6% over 2024. The turnover rate for women was 26.4%, down 0.9% over the previous year. From an age-group perspective, all groups recorded a slight increase, averaging 1.6% compared to the previous year.

In 2025, the voluntary turnover rate among women increased by nearly 1% compared with 2024, while the rate for men remained stable. From an age perspective, we saw a slight increase (less than 1%) in voluntary turnover across all age groups.

In 2025, the number of new hires in 2025 was 15% higher than in 2024 (3,624 compared with 3,148). 33% of new hires were female, 3% lower than in 2024. In 2025, women accounted for 33% of new hires, a decrease of 3% compared with 2024. The distribution of new hires across age groups showed a 1% drop in the under-30 age group compared with 2024. However, the 30-50 and over-50 age groups showed a 1% increase compared to the previous year.
